Raquel Santiago

Raquel Santiago is a bilingual (Spanish & English) attorney whose professional profile comprehends over twenty years of experience providing legal representation and consulting services in areas related to immigration matters, trademark registry, HR practices, and labor/employment compliance. After completing a BA in Labor Relations from the University of Puerto Rico, Raquel focused her career on the Human Resources field where she occupied several managerial and consulting positions for companies with global presence like Oracle, Inc., and Skanska USA. In 2009, after completing a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Puerto Rico, she started practicing law. In 2010, Attorney Santiago completed a Master of Law (LLM), focusing on Litigation and Dispute Resolution, from The George Washington University, District of Columbia. While completing her LLM, she interned for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Claims & Employment Law Branch, Office of the General Counsel.

Attorney Santiago’s business acumen, experience working with groups of multi-cultural and cross-functional backgrounds and her proven ability to communicate with peers and clients of all levels, make her a bold attorney & consultant that excels in her delivery of services. Not only has she provided legal representation as an attorney to businesses and individuals, but she has been in leading roles in the across the governmental, the non-profit, and private sectors for companies with local and global presence. From 2016 to 2021 attorney Santiago was Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico, Orlando Campus, teaching several courses for undergraduate and graduate level students. Attorney Santiago is committed to serve the community reason why she has served in a volunteer capacity for several non-for-profit organizations providing orientations to immigrants in the United States.

In 2013, Attorney Santiago moved to Orlando, Florida where she is the founder and principal attorney at Santiago Law Services, LLC. She is licensed to practice law in Puerto Rico and have been admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and the Executive Office for Immigration Review, also known as the immigration court. She is happily married to Michael S. Christopher, and together they congregate in a Christian local assembly were they serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
